Intermittent Fasting (IF)

It feels like I had tried everything in the last 4 months to lose weight – unsuccessfully! I have become obsessed and spent my lunch times and every spare minute reading blogs and searching for my next weight loss fix! I’ve come to the conclusion that my calorie allowance to lose weight is pretty low!…

Post Holiday Binge – 7 days, 10Ibs EEK!

As you know from my blog, I have been trying to transform my body by losing fat and building muscle. I had completed 12 weeks training with UP Performance, after signing up to their 6-week Transformation group training programme for 2 consecutive courses. I initially lost 10IBs on the first course due to the low…

Protein bars (UK) Best & Worst

After commencing a high-protein, Low-Carb diet I have really missed my regular sweet treats such as chocolate, cookies and croissants – oooh the 3 ‘C’s 😀    So I have taken up the not so healthy habit of trying different protein bars! I have tried a whole range of them such as CNP, Quest, USN, Grenade,…

Weight Loss Plateau – My Metabolism is stuck!

I’m getting angrier and angrier by the day! being on a very Low-Carb diet (below 50g Carbs per day) makes you irritable and grumpy anyway, but when you’ve stuck to your diet religiously and monitored and measured and recorded every last lettuce leaf and drop of liquid that has entered your mouth and your weight…

This made me more intrigued and more scared! It looked perfect for building muscle – which is one of my aims

UP Performance – to the rescue!

I had my 1st session at UP Performance last night and it was great – I really enjoyed it. I was lucky as I was the only one in the class, so ended up have a private one-to-one session, which was good as I wasn’t familiar with the machines, so it gave me the opportunity to settle in gently. The session was hard, but its only 45 mins and goes so quickly.

Last chance saloon – Body transformation

This time losing 10Ibs won’t cut it! This time I want to lose around 2 stone, tone up and more importantly cut my body fat percentage from just under 30% to low 20’s. I want to do this once and for all and maintain the lifestyle for life
